Valentine' s Day-Inspired Charcuterie {Treat} Board
Hi friends! Its been a snowy week here in Illinois for us, so I'm trying to get a little creative with some special treats and activities for my kiddos, hence this little treat board I made for them today. I thought they would love to nibble on this after nap time, and they absolutely LOVED it! Something fun and different from our normal snack-time routine...
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE all the sweet treats! But I wanted to add a few salty snacks to this treat board for the kiddos... you know, so they don't a crazy sugar rush. I actually grabbed most of these little treats initially to put into Karsyn's lunch box for Kindergarten, I thought she would love getting the pretzels, veggie heart chips or a little valentine heart cake in her lunch at school. A few sweets for my sweetie!
The best thing about a charcuterie board: add whatever you like! Simple, easy, and always a crowd pleaser {especially for toddlers}. I added what I already had on hand in our pantry: some Mother's animal cookies, heart shaped veggie chips, pretzels, Little Debbie snack cakes, and a few cinnamon hearts {my faves}.
Happy Wednesday, sweet friends! I hope this week is finding you well and happy.
