Spooky Treats for the Littles
Hi friends! Happy Monday! I've been trying to squeeze in some fun little Halloween activities with the kiddos before our sweet baby arrives {oh so soon!}. I wanted to share these really easy and simple spooky treats with you. My kiddos loved this activity, and it was a major win because I already had everything sitting in my pantry for me to grab!
My littles always wake up from nap time requesting a snack... Do yours do that too?! So today I thought would be the perfect fall day to decorate some spooky little treats after naps... We made Oreo cookie spiders and peanut butter apple teeth. Nothing crazy or fancy, just so fun and adorable!
Snacks::
I cut up a few apples, got out the peanut butter {you could substitute for almond butter or sun butter}, grabbed the candy corns, mini marshmallows, pretzels {and fun little eyeballs I picked up in the baking section at Target} and let the kiddos have at it! They loved getting to decorate and create their own little creatures, plus we made a few extras for their daddy. You could easily substitute the marshmallows for grapes or raisins, or the eyeballs for marshmallows! Whatever you have in your kitchen, you could easily make these tasty little treats.
I just thought I would share these simple {but fun!} treats. I know mama life can be busy and crafts sometimes can be messy and not worth the hassle... So I love the fact that this is something you can make and enjoy with your kiddos with mostly everything already in your pantry or kitchen.
Happy day, sweet friends!
