A Magical Unicorn + Dinosaur Party!

Hi friends! We have had such a fun March, getting to celebrate both of our sweet March birthday babies. We threw our little ones a joint birthday party last weekend, calling all unicorns and dinosaurs! It was such a fun way to celebrate for both my daughter and son, but also share a birthday theme.

I thought I would share a few of the fun party pieces and ideas I found, in case you're looking for a little party inspo for your little ones... I found so many adorable party goods from Ellie & Piper Party Boutique. They have the most adorable paper goods and stationary. I love everything in their shop! I had to grab these adorable pastel scallop napkins, the color combo was perfect for the kids' party and were so cute set out with the cupcakes. Ellie & Piper also carries some really cute party banners! I snagged this gold triangle banner, which is just the sweetest! I'm also slightly obsessed with the gorgeous confetti packs the shop sells... I snagged a few packs of those for now and later. A little goes a long way, which I LOVE!

I also was able to find some really simple and fun pieces for the party from Target. Ah, don't we all just love that place... I picked up some adorable little unicorn and dinosaur faux succulent plants, along with the Dino and unicorn banners for our fireplace mantle. Super cute, simple and affordable. Our kids loved them! I also found the sweet unicorn mug I used to hold straws {for drinks} from HomeGoods... I grabbed the cupcakes from Sam's Club {easy, but yummy!} and added unicorn and dinosaur cake toppers I grabbed from the Dollar Tree. Such a good deal and adorable.

I'm all all about the little details when it comes to throwing a festive party, but I also love keeping everything as simple as possible. Life with little ones is chaotic and busy already, so if you can buy things in advance, I always try to do that! When I'm party planning, I try and grab things as I see them, and I keep everything I buy for the party in a few baskets... This helps me to not forget about special items I've bought ahead of time.

Happy Monday, sweet friends! Grab a coffee and come shop the blog with me.
