Weekday Basics

Hi friends! Today the kiddos and I braved this crazy heat and humidity and spent the afternoon at a beautiful park nearby. It was impromptu and much needed! I was feeling a little case of the Monday's today:: you know, laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, the normal Monday stuff... so the kiddos and I loved being able to walk around at the park and get out a little energy!

As we got ready to head to the park I grabbed for my typical basics:: stripes, denim shorts, and my fave sneaks. These pieces never steer me wrong. I love a great stripe top, easy to throw on and GO. This is also a great top to help transition your wardrobe from summer to fall. I love this top and this one, both are similar to my top from VICI. My favorite denim shorts are also on sale and under $50. I'm also loving this pair!

P.S. if you don't have a neutral pair of sneaks, do yourself a huge favor and grab yourself a pair. I love this pair and these ones. They are such a great wardrobe basic. Happy Monday, cuties!
