Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Hi friends! I'm sure by now you've heard that the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is LIVE to the public. If you haven't already gobbled up a few items by now, you might want to give the sale a peek. The sale is sweet! If you haven't shopped it yet, you should. It's full of lots of great fall pieces, discounted heavily and most are staple basics perfect for fall!

Have I shopped the sale? YES. But I did wait until 2am last night to do so. A little crazy, yes, but to be honest with you, I shop Nordstrom all.the.time.... and with us not having a Nordstrom in our city, I mostly online shop for my picks. Which I love! I love going into a store to shop {most of the time} but life with little ones at home means I do love the ease of online shopping!... When the sale first began {to cardholders} we were traveling and busy with family visiting, so this year I found my must-haves, made a simple list, and waited patiently {sort of} for the sale to go public... Maybe I'll finally cave and get a Nordstrom card, but this year I've held strong! Ha.

What did I buy? I stocked up on the basics, I'm sure you're shocked! Not... I love my basics.

First up on my list, a new pair of sneaks for the whole family. I snagged a great pair of matching sneaks for my kiddos! I also grabbed a matching pair of sneaks for my hubs and I. So cool, right? HA. Let's hope they fit him... Hubs pair already sold out, but I grabbed these for myself! Run tts. You can never go wrong with Converse shoes, so I stocked up for the whole family!

I also grabbed two of these $11 tees for myself {in black and cat tail}. Oversized and perfect to style with a simple pair of denim. I'd say they run tts, but if you're looking for a more fitted look, size down. I'm wearing a small for reference... I also snagged these sunglasses, too. Love this brand! I wear my mirrored blue shades all the time. Great quality glasses!

Sales: Splurges + Must-Haves

P.S. I noticed that my favorite brand is also crazy on sale! This cardigan is a splurge but worth every single penny. My go-to high-waist leggings {run tts} are also included in the sale, $35! Also, the favorite Hunter boots are under $100! These leopard mules and these neutral mule loafers are currently sitting in my cart. I'm also eyeing this swing jacket, this $49 utility jacket, and this adorable drape front jacket! Also, this waffle stitch sweater jacket is so cute! Perfect for fall.

Denim: Let's talk denim. I did find a few sales I thought were worth mentioning... These jeans are great quality and they are one of my fave brands! I also love this grey pair. A great pair of denim can really make your look! I'm all about finding jeans and style pieces that make you feel confident and amazing as a woman, mama, wife, friend, and girlfriend... This distressed pair is another favorite of mine!

Beauty: Also, I did spy a few awesome beauty finds. This lip kit set is such a great deal! It comes with 3 full-size nude lips and an adorable black bag to go with. I snagged this eye kit, too! Comes with eye primer, full-size mascara and a gorgeous eye shadow palette. This is another great eye shadow kit!

Free People: I found a few sales I wanted to share with you! I love Free People but I would recommend sizing down {everything tends to run flowy and oversized}... but is adorable! I LOVE this sweater. It has a slouchy fit and comes in so many great colors, too. It'll be perfect for fall! Also, this long sleeve tee is a great basic and this oversized cardigan is such a great layering piece! This neutral color goes with everything.

This year I tried to shop more for my family and more for the every day basics... The sale can be a bit overwhelming, so making a list of my musts + wants really helped me shop and stay within reason. It also feels awesome to get a few new pieces for my kiddos for fall while they are on sale!
