Crafts for the Kiddos: Mother's Day Fun
Hi friends! Happy Mother's Day weekend! I haven't done a craft with my little ones in awhile, so I thought this morning would be the perfect time for a little craft with the kiddos!
I saw this cute idea for a butterfly finger paint pot on Pinterest, and had to make it! It was so simple to make and only required a few things. I found these little terra cotta pots at Lowe's for under $1 a piece, and I already had some acrylic paints at home. I drew the little bodies for the butterflies using a black sharpie marker, and then used my kiddos thumb prints to create the wings.
This was so fun! My little ones really enjoyed the craft, and I enjoyed making some sweet memories with them! After the paint dries, I might go back and put some sort of glaze on them to set the paint and keep it from chipping off.
If you're looking for a sweet craft to do with your little ones, this one would be perfect! Simple and adorable. Plus, this would be perfect for Mother's Day! Happy weekend friends!
